By accessing or using Toolbox Town (the "site") you agree to these terms. If you do not accept any part of them, please stop using the site.

1. The service

The site offers free, registration-free online tools including JSON formatting, Base64 encoding, timestamp conversion, URL encoding, hashing, password generation, UUID generation and text utilities. All processing runs in your browser.

The site may add, change, suspend or remove any tool at any time without notice, and accepts no liability for changes in functionality.

2. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site for anything unlawful.
  • Do not use automation to generate traffic beyond normal browsing, including crawling, load testing or artificial ad impressions.
  • Do not bypass, interfere with or damage the advertising on the site, and do not encourage others to click ads.
  • Do not use the tools to infringe anyone's rights, including cracking passwords or forging identity information.

3. Accuracy

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available". Reasonable care goes into the logic, but no warranty, express or implied, is given as to accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose. You are responsible for checking results.

Cross-check with another method before relying on results for:

  • Hashes used for file integrity or signature verification.
  • Passwords or keys that will be stored long-term or used in production.
  • Time-sensitive data that crosses timezones.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service — including lost data, business interruption or lost profits.

5. Passwords and sensitive data

The password generator uses the browser's cryptographic random source and runs entirely on your device. That said, the site cannot control the security of your machine. Do not generate important credentials on a shared or untrusted device, and never store the output in plaintext or send it over an insecure channel.

6. Intellectual property

The design, copy and implementation of this site are protected by copyright. You may use the tools freely on your own content, but you may not copy the site's code or pages wholesale for commercial use without permission.

Anything you enter into a tool remains yours; the site claims no rights over it.

7. Third-party services

Advertising is served by third-party vendors and linked sites are operated by third parties. The site is not responsible for their content, goods or services, nor for losses arising from their use. Cookie handling for ads is described in the privacy policy.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the new version takes effect when published. Continuing to use the site means you accept the change.
