About Toolbox Town

A toolbox that adds nothing you did not ask for.

The problem

Development work keeps throwing small things at you: a JSON payload squeezed onto one line, a bare ten-digit number you need to place in time, a search phrase that has to survive a URL, a checksum you want to verify. The usual answer is to search for "online something tool", then sit through pop-ups, sign-up prompts, usage caps and "upgrade to see the full result".

Toolbox Town does those jobs cleanly: open, paste, take the result, close. No account, no limits, no forced redirects.

What is here

  • JSON Formatter — pretty-print, minify, validate, with errors located to line and column
  • Base64 — correct UTF-8 handling, optional URL-safe alphabet
  • Timestamp — seconds or milliseconds to dates, local and UTC together
  • URL Encoder — percent-encoding plus a query-string breakdown
  • Hash — MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256 and SHA-512 at once
  • Password — cryptographic randomness, bulk output, entropy estimate
  • UUID — bulk v4 and v7 in several formats
  • Text Tools — counting, dedupe, sorting, case conversion

How it is built

  • Static pages. There is no backend — the site is served from Cloudflare's edge network. Pages load fast, and there is no database to leak, because no data is stored anywhere.
  • Computation happens in your browser. All logic is front-end JavaScript; your input is never sent to a server. Verify it in the Network panel of your dev tools.
  • No tracking SDKs. The only third-party script is the ad code described in the privacy policy.

How it stays online

The site is free. Domain and hosting are covered by the ads on the page. If it is useful to you, treating the ads as a small tip is enough — and if you run an ad blocker, every tool still works with no nagging.
